Igor, a recent immigrant and widower to the American West, struggles to raise his two-year old son in the mountains. Duncan, a cowboy who brings occasional provisions, offers Igor the chance to join his family’s horse business and move out West. After a series of encounters with both friend and foe on their journey, Duncan is left with a decision that will affect the families' future forever.
